Dan Sigouin is the Prairie Region Zone Director for. Dan’s camera club experiences began in 2016 when he joined the Saskatoon Camera club and then the Foothills Camera Club in 2018.
Dan’s photographic interests are varied and include landscape/nature, sports, waterdrop, and infrared photography.
Living in Calgary, Dan has spent considerable time exploring the vast prairies to find interesting objects and sites of abandonment. He also loves to explore the provincial, national, and urban parks around Calgary. With his infrared camera, Dan creates high contrast black and white or false colour images to generate his own perspective of the local surroundings.
Dan regularly submits images to FCC (Foothills) and CAPA competitions. He has completed the CAPA Judging training program and has been certified as a national trained judge since 2021. Since 2021, Dan has judged competitions for clubs across Canada.
