Ontario Zone Director and Judges’ Liaison Officer Glenn Bloodworth, FCAPA

Winnipeg born, Glenn moved to Ottawa in 1971 with his wife for post graduate studies & a career in the Federal Public Service. Retiring in 2001 he became President & CEO of a strategic management & public policy consulting firm.

Purchasing a Canon 40D he joined the RA Photography Club in 2005, graduated in 2008 in Algonquin College’s Photographic Techniques Program, & in 2015 with a Photographic Arts & Production Diploma from the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa. He pursues professional studies with internationally noted photographers & printers.

Working primarily in medium format film & digital composite media Glenn’s a founder of the photographic collective Studio Zone V, & member of the Foyer Gallery Artists Association.

He has an extensive exhibition history, spanning 2012 to the present, with galleries in Ottawa and Toronto. His works are held in public & private collections in Canada & abroad, including the City of Ottawa’s Fine Art Collection.

Deeply engaged in the arts community Glenn was Chair, Board of Directors, SPAO (2012–2015), & is a member of the Canadian Arts Representation [CARFAC] and Arts Network Ottawa, the RAPC’s Past Chair, Group Leader of its Fine Arts and Still Life Groups & is its CAPA Representative.

He is CAPA’s Director for Ontario, and the national Judges’ Liaison Officer. A Certified CAPA Judge since 2011, he juries in Canada & internationally.
