How much does individual membership cost?

A one-year membership for an individual is $65.  Read more about the benefits of individual membership.


What if I want my family to join?

A family membership includes you, your spouse/partner and two children under 25 years old living at the same address. With a family membership, each member of your family enjoys all the benefits and services available to individual members. Read more.

Can I pay for my membership online?

Yes, all memberships are now purchased online. When you select your membership, you will be taken to the Checkout Page where you can choose your payment method, either PayPal or Pay by Cheque. Join CAPA.


Do I need to set up a PayPal Account to pay for my membership?

No. When you choose your membership and are taken to the Checkout Page, just select PayPal as your method of payment. From there you will be taken to a page where you can enter your credit card information without setting up a PayPal account. The funds will be transferred from your credit card to CAPA’s PayPal account.


How much does a photography club membership cost?

It depends on the size of your photography club. A one-year membership for a club of 20 members or less is $65.  Larger clubs will pay a different amount. Go to the Join CAPA page to see the membership dues for your club.


What does our club receive if we join CAPA?

Through your designated CAPA representative, your club will be connected to like-minded photography groups across Canada. CAPA member clubs receive access to a digital copy of Canadian Camera magazine quarterly for distribution to club members. Member clubs can enter national club competitions and are listed on the Clubs Page of the CAPA website with a link to your club’s website. Read more about the benefits for your club as a CAPA member.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

Just log in, go to your Membership Account, and choose the option to cancel. Once you do that, all transactions from your previous memberships are deleted. If you join CAPA in the future, you will need to start all over as a new member. Please note that there are no refunds for cancelled memberships.
