Scholarships
CAPA Scholarship
Individual and family CAPA members in good standing may apply for the annual $500.00 CAPA scholarship to assist members in furthering their knowledge of photography .
The scholarship must be applied to a photography course, workshop or program, offered by a recognized Canadian post secondary institution.
OPAW Scholarship
The Okanagan Photographic Art Workshops (OPAW) Scholarship is open to any person who is studying visual arts at a recognized Canadian post secondary institution.
Steve Baylin Scholarship
This scholarship in memory of Steve Baylin is for new graduates who will be studying photography in post secondary education.
Terry Beaupre Scholarship
This one-time scholarship or $500 in memory of Terry Beaupre is for a post secondary student pursuing a degree or diploma for photography from a recognized Canadian post secondary school. Read more about Terry here.
Apply for a Scholarship
Please fill in the application below, indicating which scholarship you are applying for. Include a short photographic biography, a list of service to CAPA and/or Canadian photography and details regarding the proposed use of the funds accompanied by a portfolio of six of your own images. Scans 1400 x 1050 pixels up to 2 mb are preferred.
Applications must be received no later than May 31st.
