Title: Title: Snowy Owl at Sunset
When I view and photograph a species like the Snowy Owl in the wild, I can't help but think how much it adds to our existence. This gorgeous bird, on the foreshore at Boundary Bay, in Delta, B.C., was awaiting the start of it's nighttime hunt. As wildlife photographers, we really have to think of the impact on our subjects... I approach very slowly and quietly, to a reasonable distance and try to be very patient. This generally pays off, as I truly believe the wildlife can sense my intent.
